Why I Built This
It started with a really brutal job search
I'm a student. I was going through the same process — tailoring resumes, second-guessing every bullet point, refreshing my inbox to silence. And I was watching people around me, smart and hardworking, struggle not because they weren't good enough, but because they didn't have the right tools.
Career coaches charge $200 an hour. Professional resume rewrites cost $300. None of that is accessible to most of us. So I started asking: can you build something that does all of that — for free — using tools that already exist? Eka™ is the answer I found.
What I Learned
Building this changed how I think about AI
The difference between a chatbot and a product is structure. Once I defined what each output should look like, it stopped feeling like AI and started feeling like software.
Getting one AI to behave like a resume specialist, an ATS engineer, a visa advisor, and an interview coach — all in the same conversation — required careful persona architecture.
Because I was the user, I knew exactly what felt condescending, what felt vague, what felt like a generic AI response. Designing from shared experience made every decision sharper.
